Seventy-five Rockwall ISD high school students have earned national recognition from the College Board for their high performance on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test or Advanced Placement Exams.

Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy students in Texas Association of Future Educators earned a top spot at the national competition in June.

Congratulations to Rockwall High School for a tied 8^th place in the 2023-2024 UIL Lone Star Cup.

With the end of the school year, we want to recognize our CTE students for a job well done as they have competed and championed important events and milestones this year at the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy. 

Congratulations to Paige White, who was named principal of Amanda Rochell Elementary School. She has 25 years of experience in education, and began as a bilingual teacher at Amanda Rochell Elementary. 

The Rockwall-Heath High School Class of 2024 celebrated their graduation with a ceremony filled with joy, pride, and anticipation for the future. Graduates, surrounded by their families, friends, and teachers, commemorated their achievements and the journey it took to reach this pivotal moment.
